Description

Mission:
To help homeless families return to self-sufficiency by providing a temporary home and supportive services.
Menchville House is a forty six-bed facility emergency housing facility for homeless families, located in the Denbigh area of Newport News on Warwick Blvd.

18 month homeless shelter for up to 16 women and 30 children where residents are offered programs to help them return to self-sufficiency.Must be drug and alcohol free and look for work, pay HUD mandated rent.

Program Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age.
Commit to making positive changes in their lives.
Obtain employment.
Be drug-free for at least six months.
Not be involved in any criminal activities or lifestyle.
Aggressively seek affordable housing and work towards removing housing barriers.
Accept case management.
