FAQs

What program do they offer?

Their program offers a commitment of up to 12 months to homeless single parents with children and older adults.

Description

There are many factors to account for why someone becomes homeless:
death of a companion, loss of employment and income, catastrophic illness, domestic violence, substance abuse;
but whatever the reason or circumstance, no one intends or plans to become homeless.
For the most part, it happens even when they are careful to follow the route they have charted for ourselves.
And in the last 10 years, the fastest growing segment of homeless, both nationally and locally, are single parent families headed by women.
Their program offers a commitment of up to 12 months to homeless single parents with children and older adults.

    I am on SSDI an make $1308 a month. I was given 30 days notice to vacate the room I have been renting from a friend since 2013 when he sold the house without telling me. I can not find an apartment that I can live in because I do not make 3x's the rent. I have 2 dogs and do not want to lose them. I am in need of low rent housing or a help finding a place to stay. URGENT. I only have until 10/03. Thank you.
