Description

Families seeking emergency assistance around their housing instability are screened to determine the severity of their needs.

VWFRC is not a shelter. Families participate in a Unified Screening process for all services and benefits.

Eligible families may receive services such as prevention resources, including emergency rental and utility assistance, or temporary emergency shelter.

Other services include referrals for employment training, work readiness, and job placement assistance.

    Im a single mom of 2. We just got put out of our house moved back in with my parents and now we're all getting evicted from here in 2 weeks. Im not working right now and we have nowhere to go. Im in md right now but my benefits have been closed so im not receiving anything from here. I was going to get a new id from md but do i have to have a dc one in order to come to this program? Pg county doesnt help at all and i cant have my babies out on the streets. Please help.
