Thermal Shelter of Front Royal is not a single building, a single location; it is a program run by local churches and volunteers that rotates homeless men and women among various participating churches in the area.Thermal Shelter of Front Royal shelter will offer various items to make the homeless feel comfortable.
What they offer:
Hot dinner and a bag lunch the next morning.
Donated items, like coats, gloves, socks and personal care items.
A nurse will come if needed to attend minor injuries.
Mental health counselor available.
Eight churches, including New Hope Bible Church, Front Royal United Methodist Church and Front Royal Presbyterian Church, will play host to the shelter.
