In House Services
Victims may stay for up to 30 days at the shelter.  During this time, victims will receive advocacy and victim assistance that includes, but is not limited to: support groups, agency/housing/employment referalls, emergency transportation, and any additional support needed.  While staying at the shelter, residents and their children will have their own room.  In addition to this, food is provided for every meal.  Residents will take turns sharing the responsibility of preparing these meals as well as clean up and other household chores.  We have an Client Advocate who will work individually with each resident as well as a Child Advocate who will assess and meet the needs of each child residing here.

Outreach Services
The Crisis Center also provides services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault even when they may not be in need of emergency shelter.  The Client Advocate will meet with the victim in Jasper, Newton, or Pulaski County at a safe location predetermined by the advocate.  During this time, the advocate can provide advocacy, referrals, and education/support on the issue of domestic violence.  The advocate is also able to accompany the victim to court appointments for the purpose of assisting the client in obtaining a protective order or simply for emotional support.
