Mission Statement

Beyond providing emergency shelter and food, its goals are to minimize the psychological trauma of homelessness insofar as it can, and to facilitate the family?s smoothest and most rapid transition possible to a more stable and permanent future."

Description

Programs and Services Haven House provides temporary emergency shelter and food to:

• Single fathers with children
• Single mothers with children
• Married couples and families
• Entirely without government funding of any kind.

Instead, they rely solely on contributions from interested individuals, clubs, organizations, foundations, corporations, churches, etc.
