Mission Statement

"After finding God in a small mission in Temple, Texas, a homeless man named Bob Barry came to Brenham with a vision to begin a mission for the homeless, and presented his plan to the local Ministerial Association. The ministers liked the idea, and Faith Mission was born. Faith Mission and Help Center, Incorporated, was founded in February of 1985. Faith Mission is an ecumenical, Christian based non-profit organization created to be a central clearinghouse for assistance to the homeless and working poor in Washington county. Individuals, churches, community organizations, and corporations through Faith Mission support individuals in crisis, as well as helping individuals achieve educational, vocational, and employment/career opportunities."
