Mission Statement

Description

Children's Village provides shelter and care for girls ages birth up to 18 years and boys ages birth up to 13 years who have been abused, neglected or are experiencing family crisis, including homelessness.
Children's Village has a Crisis Nursery for infants and toddlers at risk or in family crisis.
Services:
Nutritional meals and snacks planned and prepared under the direction of a trained Food Manager
Health assessment and support Transportation to school of origin if resident attends Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum or Athol school districts.
Customized shelter and residential plans for each child depending on their length of stay
Transportation to any needed medical, dental, vision or therapy appointments
Clothing, personal hygiene items and other necessities
Activities designed to expose the children to new experiences, build their skill set and their self confidence
Outings to entertain and educate
Each resident is assigned a mentor
Any needed tutoring is provided
