It was a nightmare. Mental Health is dangerously exposed to general population. A lot of the clients are on parole or have criminal pass along with the staff. The staff is rude and unprofessional. The staff are not compassionate with clients. Extremely rude. Forget complaining. No one care. Highly un-recommended.

This shelter is run like a prison. You are told when you can and can not use the bathroom. The staff is extremely rude. They come into your room all times of the night not caring if you have to work early the next morning. When they do bed check they knock once and before you can answer the door they bust in the door they don't care if you are dressed or not. You are allowed to bring snacks and stuff but the staff take it to eat for themselves and tell you can't have it in here. The city needs to look into this shelter and the staff they hire to work in the building.

I had a helpful staff when I was there, and was lucky enough to have great roommates but it was just a women shelter when I was there.

I spent part of 2018 & again from December 31, 2019 to February, 2020 @ Catherine?s Women Respit Shelter & gave no complaints! The staff were beautiful hard working men & women & were the best if the best in my opinion! I would love to go back and visit the shelter to say hello to staff and ladies in the shelter!
