Description

Family Promise's mission is to provide emergency shelter and social services to help families move toward independent housing and self-sufficiency. The program rescues families with at least one child under the age of 18 and any pets in their care.

In the Emergency Shelter, they focus on resolving the family's immediate crisis and provide food, safe shelter, clothing, and help them find daycare, schools, employment and social services.

Within 60 days the family has generally stabilized and a parent is employed.

They continue to get encouragement and case management while they transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
