Description

Provides food bank, thrift store, canteen in times of disaster, assistance with prescription medicine and as vouchers in times of need, Christmas and Back to School programs for children and access to the Salvation Army homeless shelters in B'ham & Tuscaloosa. Assistance is provided with transportation or as for homeless persons to and from the shelter, as needed.

Full list of services provided: Christmas Programs, Disaster Relief/Recovery Organizations, Food Pantries, Gas Money, Homeless Shelter for Men, Homeless Shelter for Women, Mass Feeding Services, Prescription Expense Assistance, School Supplies, Thrift Shops.

No Fee for Service - disaster clients, Christmas and Back to School Programs and homeless clients for the first five nights.

Fixed Fee - for thrift store items and homeless clients for shelter beyond five nights.

Apply for services by walking in or calling.
