Description

If you are pregnant and/or parenting young women experiencing homelessness, at risk of becoming homeless, or currently living in an unsafe situation, they can help.

The Penquis Journey House, located in Dexter, is a transitional living program for pregnant and/or parenting women between the ages of 16 and 21.

The Journey House can accommodate up to four women with one to two children, each for up to 18 months.

Their warm and welcoming home has four large bedrooms for their residents to share with their children.

Spacious living and dining areas allow for family-style living.

They have 24 hours of on-site staff for support and guidance; they offer case management services, connection to area resources, and parenting support.
