Description

The Dayton Catholic Worker Movement operates a house of hospitality for six homeless guests labeled working poor, mentally ill, ex-felon, and addict. We mentor social cooperative business development - helping people to help themselves.

A cooperative is defined as an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned and democratically-controlled enterprise.

I have a 31 year old daughter and a emotional support dog. We have been in Dayton Ohio since December 23rd 2019 all my Snap Benefits and Medicaid had been stopped in Bloomington Indiana my Section 8 has been transferred here to Dayton Ohio. My friend David Freeman came got us and brought us into his house. His wife has threatened to throw us out eversince and usually when we aren't doing thing's her way. She's upset with me because I refused to give her all my important paperwork. Around a hour ago she brought my shoes up threw them on the floor with a bunch of trash bags said bag up your clothes you both are leaving. You will be leaving Cocoa here with me. Cocoa is my emotional support dog has been for at least 8 years now. She is 12 years old very friendly loves people loves being petted. I need help badly.
