Description

Good Samaritan Haven is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers short-term, emergency shelter to adults experiencing homelessness in Central Vermont.

The organization operates four facilities with seventy-seven shelter beds.

The Emergency Shelter Program provides basic needs such as food, clothing, toiletries, and laundry for all guests free of charge through generous community donations.

A wide range of case management services are also provided to help guests gain employment, apply for benefits, engage in treatment, and find stable housing.

    I am interested in volunteering in some capacity. I do online free counseling for folks either in Recovery or seeking information. I worked as a Housing Specialist years ago with homeless families in motels and shelters.
