My Sister's House is a transitional shelter for women.
Candidates for My Sister's House must meet the following criteria:
    Single, female, ages 18 & older
    Drug and alcohol free (for a minimum of 90 days)
    Employed, employable or in school
    Referred through Charlotte-Mecklenburg Coordinated Assessment.

Our clinically-supported program provides comprehensive services including life skills classes, individual therapy, group counseling and financial literacy workshops that focus on six key areas of a womans development:
1.    mental health
2.    physical health
3.    financial health
4.    spiritual health
5.    legal health
6.    empowerment
